Always There!

John 15:13 says, "Greater love has no one than this, that He lay down His life for His friends." Truly, God has blessed me with the most incredible friends. They know who they are. Each one leaves me loving Jesus more and understanding more of His character through our friendship. I am beyond grateful and could write more than a few pages on each one and how they have personally blessed my life! However, I am going to write about the one I have known and loved the longest....Miss Savannah Duncan. I find so much joy in our friendship, and my life wouldn't be the same without her. We have been through so much together. Although she lives miles and miles away, I feel as if she is right by my side. The Lord uses her to speak truth and hope into my life. I know that she would do anything for me, and I would do anything for her. She is a beautiful woman of God, and I am overwhelmed by my Savior's love through her. He takes her actions and words of compassion and turns them into something that refreshes my soul. We have disappointed each other along the way, but we have learned that the only one who will never disappoint is Him. So, we rest in that and are able to love each other deeply from the heart! He has made our friendship so sweet and continues to make it sweeter. He is our ultimate friend, but we are blessed to walk with one another. No matter the distance between us, our love for Christ keeps us connected. Thank You Lord for Savannah. Thank You that we can be honest with one another, encourage and lift each other up, pray for one another, and help bear the burdens of this world together. Thank You that we can be Your hands and feet to each other and most importantly to a lost and dying world. Thank You for dying for us, so that we could have friendships like this and show ourselves friendly! Thank You that it is only through friendship with You that we can be this kind of friend to others.
