Think About It!
Isn't it funny how we can think ourselves into any mood? Joyce Meyer would say that the mind is the battlefield! If you haven't read her book, "Battlefield Of The Mind," you need too. It talks about how a deceived mind leads a deceived life. Jesus warns us in Matthew 24:4 to "See that no one leads you astray." Think about the thoughts that go through our mind in a day and how they can affect us. Think about the way we over analyze things. Satan loves to asks questions and stir up trouble. He's been doing it since the beginning of time. It is what led to the fall of man and keeps man falling. "Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, 'Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?" The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, 'You must not eat from the fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.' " You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman. "For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it" (Genesis 3:1-6). How easily we can be deceived! Satan is a liar and the father of all lies. We must not listen to him. Scripture admonishes us to not be conformed to this world, but to be transformed (changed entirely) by the renewing of our minds. It is when we have been transformed (changed entirely) that we are able to determine what is God's good, acceptable, and perfect will for our lives. A change of mind means a change of life! Think about it!
