Today looked very different from any other day, and I loved it! Chris and I signed up to work in our church nursery. We will be volunteering every week, and we are so excited! We are the proud, new teachers of the two-year old "Hippo" class. You should have seen us last night preparing for our lesson. We were having so much fun memorizing Scripture with motions! Not knowing quite what to expect, we were full of anticipation of what this morning might entail. We arrived at 8:35 a.m., ready for the task at hand, and headed to our room! One by one, our helpers arrived. I am not sure what we would have done without them! It was definitely a team effort! We had sixteen two-year olds! I must admit that it was a little overwhelming, but totally worth it. We definitely got our workout for the day! We played, talked about Jesus, ate snacks, made crafts, and changed diapers! Yes, I changed eight diapers! Overall, it was such a sweet time. We can't wait for next week! Thank You Jesus that we get the incredible opportunity of loving two-year olds! What a gift!
