The Last Six Months!


What I've been up to the last six months...


had our first annual rosiarefsavy girls' weekend. enjoyed and explored fort worth. first friday with ali. lunch with lauren and gayle at the kimbell. went to the lake with luke and ali. concert in the gardens. started a new job at texas rehab hospital. sister moved in. lots of lunch and dinner dates with friends. ministry celebration service for w.g. daniels (38 years). hosted a baby shower for jen. caught some rays with my sisser. went to an occasional movie. realized i didn't want to live without chris. had a couple of slumber parties. enjoyed a weekend at the ranch for meg's bachelorette. challenged to pray and give more. ranger games with various family and friends. watched god answer prayers. paid off the majority of my school loans. started and completed the "seed series" bible study in my home with a wonderful group of women. made special visits to my favorite patients while in the hospital and hospice. celebrated birthdays and anniversaries. experienced growth and life at my old youth pastor's new church plant. scheduled time to relax. welcomed paysli faith matthews into this world. got a few facials. attended jacob and callie's wedding. learned more about eagle creek recovery ministry for men. double-dated. welcomed katherine grace kingsriter into this world. got a few mani/pedi's. watched hayden be baptized. celebrated chris getting a job with mhmr. stood beside ben and meg on their wedding day. shopped with mom. bought a pair of earrings that i had been eyeing for years. christmas in cowtown with the roomies. learned that he was more than enough again. learned more about positioning myself to hear and his faithfulness to speak. was encouraged by how small i am. was overwhelmed with the journey he laid out for us. realized it was the only way he could receive all the glory. joined christ chapel bible church with chris. became apart of a young couples class. carved my first pumpkin. dressed up for the first time in years for halloween. worked a lot of prn. had a reunion with old friends from high school. ministry celebration service for rod masteller (13 years). hosted a baby shower for kristin. celebrated lauren and alan's engagement. accepted an invitation to sing in their wedding. became a year older. enjoyed many nights brainstorming, dreaming, and talking with mere. tried something new for my birthday. had one of my best friends' babies named after me. started discussion about the book "radical" and how to take back our faith from the american dream (we're still discussing). walked through the botanical gardens. created my first shutterfly book. traveled to paris, texas for dinner on a private plane. welcomed wyatt lewis bullard into the world. cheered on the baylor bears to victory over the texas tech raiders at cowboy stadium. decorated my house for christmas. put christmas lights on the outside for the first time. chris proposed and i said yes. had my best friend surprise me and fly in. spent a weekend or two in shreveport, dallas, and waco. cheered on the baylor bears to victory over the texas longhorns at our last home game. walked the baylor football field with the love of my life (just the two of us!). started planning a wedding. attended an ugly sweater christmas party with my new co-workers. played beer pong for the first time (without the beer!). had unexpected nights of prayer and worship with perfect strangers/new friends. found out matt and court were having a girl. celebrated our heisman trophy winner. spent some time writing. adopted two families for christmas. celebrated the "coming soon" kinley elizabeth milam and showered her with gifts. watched my fiance walk across the stage and get his masters. hosted a game night in my home with some of our closest friends. had x factor, friends, and ellen watching parties with my sister. laughed a lot. went to one of regan haggerty's famous holiday parties. discovered i loved sweet treats we've had for years. found our ceremony and reception site. spent lots of quality time with mere and chris, family, and friends. found out my grandmother had pancreatic cancer. cried a lot. spent christmas in el dorado, arkansas. spent time with loved ones over the holidays. lost my dear reverend w.g. daniels. prayed and believed god for miracles. flipped through old pictures. talked about great memories. experienced more. reminisced about his faithfulness in my life over the last six months and especially in the past 27 years. to god be the glory forever and ever.
