Just thinking...

I had a conversation with someone this week that reminded me of the power of God's presence. God has used him time and time again to step into deep darkness and bring the life and light of Christ to painful situations. What a privilege it is to not only belong to Christ, but to believe that He has called us to much more than a comfortable life. He's called us to love Him in such a way that allows us to see others as He does, to want to step into their pain...to offer Hope. In and of ourselves, we have nothing to give. I'm reminded of this daily,especially in my work place, as I am surrounded by all kinds of people that are hurting. I'm amazed at how much He speaks to me when I just take the time to listen. He is Emmanuel! So often I am overwhelmed with His presence, that He would consider me and allow me access at any given moment. That He would choose me to be an ambassador for Him, to be an extension of His love. Oh, the benefits of knowing Jesus! Thank You Lord that You instruct me in the way I should go. Thank You that You counsel me and always have Your eye on me. Thank You that You love using Your children to bring You glory. Thank You that You would allow me to be apart of Your work for Your kingdom. Yes, Lord! Your kingdom come! Your will be done!

P.S. I've been listening to Israel this week and the Lord has really encouraged me through his music. May we never forget WHO is in control. Let us worship Him with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength! Thank You Lord that Your grace has taken over in my life and that You never let go!
